Publisher's Description

WindowSurfer is a Tabbed Web Browser with some unique Automatic Login features. With just one click on its Link for a web site, it does 4 things - fills in the login URL, opens the login page, fills in UserName/Password and clicks on the Submit button. You can even avoid this one click by checking the 'Load At Start' box in its Link properties. It loads and logs in to multiple web sites simultaneously, so the total time taken for all logins is much less. You do not have to wait in a queue for each page to complete. It supports tabbed windows and multiple users/profiles. It smartly blocks and kills the Pop-Up windows before they are able to load, thus saving your internet bandwidth. The web search feature using Google/Yahoo/MSN allows you to see the searched results in one window and their content pages in another window side-by-side. It uses industrial strength encryption and stores user's passwords on their own computer. It is a great business productivity tool for users where they have to login to multiple client web sites throughout the day.

- Auto-login doesn't work with sites having image/audio verification. Has problems with certain AJAX sites and SWF / Java based logins.

- Based on Internet Explorer

- Unappealing user interface

- Not enough features to convince fans of Mozilla / Opera to consider switching

- RoboForm does a better job and works with your existing browsers and is also free. Pro version of WindowSurfer costs $50 while Pro version of RoboForm costs only $30.
Enterprise version of WindowSurfer which costs $80 just has an additional feature of auto refresh which is already present in browsers like Opera or Firefox.

Conclusion: This browser has very VERY limited features, hence not worth it. You'll be better off using Firefox or Opera or even plain IE 7. If you want web automation install RoboForm.

I have been using this software for some time now and even paid for it.. and in no sense i believe that mr. victor is smarter than me... someone writing such a comment is stupid himself who is calling it just a browser. why would anyone put a browser for sale?? READ the description, use it and then write your comments!! that would be much more appreciated by the user community.

I have used both myie2 and windowsurfer , windowsurfer is far better and has features which are not there in myie2. Fully automated login is one of them. People pay if they get value for their money. Windowsurfer sure pays it back.

The program may or may not be good - but it's shareware. And why would anyone pay 20 bucks for a program when there are many that do virtually the same for FREE.

MyIE2 is the best of them all - and it's 100% free, no adware, etc.

- Opera lets you sign into your online accounts with just a click of two buttons, sorry.
- Opera provides options to load pages automatically (or even sign in the accounts) when the application starts - they're called Sessions.
- Yes, Opera has popup blocking, very good one at that.

How about a 4 for effort?

brazen, i think you are a bit mistaken there or have not tried the program at all... does opera lets you sign into your online accounts with just a click of a button? or provides an option to load pages automatically (or even sign in the accounts) when the application starts? how about pop up blocking? this program is really more worth than Opera..
