great program use it all the time while the comment below is half true. This also keeps programs from going going outbound or phoning home, a must have in my book

Hey dorks, if your computer is sitting behind a router, then you dont need firewall. Unless incoming ports are routed to your machine specifically, they can never get in to that machine.

EFF people on this site are dumber than a pile of crap.

I thought about using this but I don't like the GUI. So sticking with TinyWall for now.

I came from Comodo also, but this program is a winner. It uses the Windows Firewall, so no 3th party drivers.
I donated, so i can enjoy the popup warnings, witch are great. But even the freeware version is great!

I switched from Comodo's free firewall to this a few months ago and I'm sticking with it! It took a little while to get used to since I was used to popups, because I have to remember when a program isn't working that it is normally because the firewall is blocking it by default until I manually give it permission to let it through. So I wouldn't recommend it to my parents or anything. But seems to be better than the other firewall programs I tried that work as a Windows firewall gui. And now that I'm used to no popups I'm glad I don't need to pay for the activated version, but at least it's an option.

Pros: Free, simple, uses few resources

Cons: A bit of a learning curve coming from a pop-up style firewall.
