Second @Someguy. After you download, extract Nvidia driver files from executable with 7z or Winrar. Go to device manager, right click on the Nvidia display adapter and choose "update driver." Browse to the extracted Nvidia Driver folder "Display.Driver" and perform update. Avoid all the other bloat. Then go to your scheduled tasks manager and disable Nvidia's "telemetry" task.

You don't have to use GeForce Experience at all!
Just download the driver direct from http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx
They're still large, but then it contains a lot..

288 megs of bloat need to create an account to update my drivers by your bloated tool! I would rather do it manually

started noticing some corruption with animated gifs and videos for a short time after they load. This didn't happen until after this update.

You would think by now they would have made a universal download that has all nVIDIA drivers

Pros: Quick Tip: right click the 391.01-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe file and extract to it's own folder. Then keep only the following folders
Display.Driver
HDAudio
NVI2
PhysX
delete the other folders
keep all the loose files (or at least setup.exe and setup.cfg)
now run setup.exe (you'll have no telemetry and no unnecessary bloat)
Cons: makes muh games werk
Bottom Line: doesn't make my 60fps monitor werk at 144Hz

Running a 2011-3, 980 and Win10 64. I just ran a quick test with FM 06. Used DDU to do a clean install on each driver. 365.19 worked better for me.
368.22 35k plus change
365.19 36k plus change

@Sven123456789
sounds more like a bad experience with win 10 than nVIDIA
win 10 drops support for a ton of old video cards
AMD and nVIDIA... most of them are junk video cards that need to go in the trash
stay with win 7 if you need to...

If I could give Nvidia a zero rating, I would. I'm stuck with lousy Microsoft basic display adapter because Nvidia is too lazy to update my graphics driver. My pc is less than 5 years old, its not like a win 95 pc from the 90's. So Microsoft basically forces me to upgrade to win 10. Kills my nvidia driver. Nvidia is not making an upgrade for my driver, just this one here thats not compatible with my pc. And now I lost use of all my video games and some other software. Luckily I have my old 10 year old win XP Gateway pc which i've switched back to. And it works like a charm. And yes, it thankfully doesn't have an Nvidia graphics card.
