0.56 was banned on some trackers because of the false information... but from 0.57 it was unbanned because the authors fixed the error. I don't know of any trackers that ban this client now.

Its amazing how many people obviously don't actually read what this program does.... its NOT primarily a bandwidth monitoring program, but a bandwidth controlling program... which means it can be used to reduce traffic through whatever network...
