Not the ultimate Remote Admin Software... but it is very useful.
- Xalpharis: Check your PC for something else.
- theheff: Read the name Advanced REMOTE INFO!!!
If you have an Anti Virus with unwanted programs protection enabled it will alert you about most remote management software.
- -Lord- ...you know... that's what a firewall is supposed to do.

After I installed this program, it deleted almost every single file I had with the word 'bottle' in the filename. I'm not sure why.
After I uninstalled it, I cried in the shower.
It was a shower of sulphuric ACID.

this program is great for users in guantonimo bay.
first of all, the End User Agreement reminds me of something the NSA crafted up.
Getting through that part Microsoft defender came up with somthing about this program but i overrode the warning anyway.
after installing it, my start button had vanished. i still had a start bar just no button. after about about 5 hours of repairs to the system i got it back up and going only to discover my network drivers were removed. finally i got fed up and just did a fresh install of xp . which really sucked because i lost all my information.
but yeah if you could get this installed onto your unwitty enemies machine you would be 100% satisfied with the results. however due to the description discrepancies i must give it a low rating.

0.6.5.0 triggered McAfee Virus Scan for me... detected as "RemAdm-PSKill" every time you launch the program. The program creates this file in a temp directory under local settings for the user (which is invisible). Looks extremely suspicious.

Doesn't work on XP machines with the firewall enabled... and probably not any ANY machine with a built in firewall enabled.

This program crashed my win2k3-sp1 server when I tried to run it against another IIS6.0 web server remotely. Lots of promise though, and a nice alternative to Everest Pro if you can't afford it. (note: this ran against my localhost fine). If you feel ambitious, make it work against a Linux box too. Then you would be da man!

Nice to see opensource for this project:-))))
Keep on working
Have to give it a 2 course its not even working for me
Now with the new hotfix, i dont get any errors, but neither any info on the computer on my LAN, but i changed the rating to 3 for quick respond from the developer

I give it a 3 coz the app does not have proper thread handling. User cannot cancel process and run more than 3 PCs, as well as PC that have firewall enabled will freezed up.
Good job overall.

@Big Bopper: Please contact me via mail (mail at masterbootrecord.de)
@ainvar: Have you tried the command line switch /language="English" ?
Ainvar reviewed v0.6.3.8 Beta on Oct 17, 2004
Software is great but the language is mostly in german for the program itself. The results are posted in english but everything else is mostly german. So it is not very usable for me since I am not fluent in german (maybe this would be a good time to learn!)
Big Bopper reviewed v0.6.3.8 Beta on Oct 17, 2004
After receiving an updated DB file, I was able to open the program. Based on dialog with the developer, I was able to resolve the language issue. The program truely has promise. It's a fabulous tool for networks. There are a few bugs in it at this time, but, again, it has promise. Export feature doesn't export the software list; No way to cancel routines that get hung up; Haven't figured out what the "Send" button does yet. Anxious to see what develops. I got say....the developer is very open to comments, suggestions, critical issues, etc. Many are so defensive. Keep up the good work.
