Been running Biadu for a few weeks , i was quite impressed how well it installed and reinstalled, also the light footprint on system resource.Real time detection is not as good as hoped .considering it had the benefit of 3 engines

I've finally decided they are never going to get this right, the site is either slow or nor running which is not good for an AV solution, always problems getting the program right - I shan't bother trying it again - Look elsewhere.

Not doing to good in Virus Bulletin @ around 85% - Behind Avira which is interesting as it uses the Avira sigs?

A very good free anti-virus programme. I have no problem with updates. yes in settings be sure to check "Enable Avira engine" for real time protection. My PC's all have Baidu for all functions, downloading, finance etc. because I trust it ~~ !

There have been issues with the program not updating definitions properly, why it was released in any form like that is intriguing & does not inspire trust in it - I wouldn't use it as a main AV until these problems are sorted & that is not yet.
As the site is not running it's difficult to review the program & I would really avoid it.

If you're looking for a lightweight free AV with a very easy learning curve, this is it. The GUI is very simple, clean, and user friendly, yet deceptively complete. Most AV's have a GUI that only a Poindexter could love. Not so with Baidu.Everything is simple, logical, and handy. It's also colorful and cheerful, and sort of looks like a fruit salad (in a good way) It uses the reliable Avira engine, so detection has to be very good. It did alert on K-Lite Mega CODEC pack, but tha't the only false positive I have encountered. It runs well alone, and also runs along side all the other major AV programs. Try it, it's very hard not to like.
