to much bloat no option for just a driver update

Should be called Intellipointless, because 99% of users have absolutely no need for this software. You just plug your mouse in and it will work fine, I promise.

I love my Microsoft Office Keyboard, and the Intellitype Pro 2.2 works great. I just changed jobs, and for some weird reason, every time I log off, it kills part of the keyboard functions... the scroll wheel and the volume buttons. I have to un-install and re-install every time to resolve the problem. There has GOT to be a way to fix this...? Any ideas or suggestions? I know some of the newer versions of MS IntelliType don't work with this older model keyboard, but I have two of these and absolutely love them.

Version 8 no longer supports PS/2 type mice. It may also no longer support non-Microsoft USB mice.

You can't stand it because you tend to focus all your vision tightly in the center. You're not a big picture type viewer so the sudden movement and shift of focus under magnification leaves you disoriented. Those of us who view things wide angle don't have that problem. It wouldn't surprise me if you also got seasick. It's just a difference in viewing patterns.

Yeah and it didn't do anything useful either. :)
I *adore* the magnification feature, especially under 7. FIVE stars.

Awesome--I am so psyched this new driver is out!
Oh wait--I threw out my IntelliMouse years ago because this software always sucked.
Never mind.

Such a great product. It is another mistake on behalf of M$. Anyway i subscribed just to provide the software version and link to the software version that provides full functionality for this very useful product.

21 MB of RAM usage. I remember the good old times when my Amiga mouse driver used to need a grand total of 10 KB. Those were the days.

For those trying to get their Microsoft Office Keyboard RT9450 working right, download IntelliType Pro v 2.2. I just picked up this superb piece of hardware from Goodwill for only $10, and it's a great keyboard for those who are left handed. It's perhaps the only model that has a scroll wheel, and it is nicely placed on the left side too!
