Was this thing tested?

Did not work correctly (lag and scroll wheel didn't work) when tried with a MS wireless mouse that came with IntelliPoint. Combined with the lack of features, the generic USB mouse driver is better. Absolutely horrible piece of software.

MS used to make great stuff, but almost everything they've made recently (Windows 8 and forward) has been a disaster.

The "center" is just too basic. I had to go back to IntelliPoint (and IntelliType) because I lose too much necessary configuration and functionality.

Until they give this the FULL functionality of the old standalone drivers, I suppose I have to at least give 1 star since it does have basic functionality (that and I can't give less :p).

Did not work for me. I have a MS bluetooth mouse and keyboard and it could not find either. Moving transmitter did not help either. Wonder if anyone at MS actually checked this out before releasing this non-functional software.

Usually Microsoft releases things I don't like, but they work. This flies in the face of that completely. My Explorer Touch Mouse doesn't work as well on this driver as with the old Intellipoint 8.20 drivers on my Win 7 Ultimate machines - either one of them - tried both to see if the problem was hardware, as they could not be much moire different. Same problem, the scroll feature stops annoyingly, and takes a restart of the computer, or the mouse, to work properly. The sensitivity settings in general are much less capable than the Intellipoint 8.20 driver as well. This is a real FAIL.

would not detect my Microsoft comfort? mouse, 2 restarts, changing usb ports did nothing 2 help.

I downloaded this so I could use my trusty Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro with Vista Home Premium 64 bit. First, there is no listing for the keyboard in the software setup process. I chose the Internet Keyboard since its' layout is very similar. The problem remains that the software displays my choices for the key reassignments but they are not implemented during use of the keyboard. Only the factory defaults remain. If anyone has a solution, please post. I rate this one star since it does not seem to perform as advertised for me.

Finaly Microsoft!
But I think this should've been released almost a year ago... but I guess it's better late, than never..
