A fantastic program that deserves to be supported.

This product appears to be targeted toward mid-large enterprises with distributed systems. As such the pricing appears to be in line with what the target customers expect to pay. As I am not this kind of customer I cannot say if the price tag is in line with what I expect to pay for this kind of functionality - especially one built around open source code. For that I will give a reasonable rating as this would be something that suits an enterprise customer even though it is not something that would provide value to me personally.

We have one of the busiest e-commerce websites online and we have been using NCache for about 2 years. We are not only more than happy with NCache's performance but are also highly impressed with the level of support that has been provided to us. NCache is worth its price and then some. I don't know why people malign a product or comment on it when they have not even used it on an appreciable scale. I guess they might have vested interests.

I suggest people download this product, install it and try it in their own environment. If it works for them, its value would seem to them to be much more than the price tag involved. In fact, they even came out with a free version a few months ago. I guess now they have even taken away that excuse to be apprehensive.

The $995.00 it's per physical CPU :)
I guess for this price, when using this product, everything should run at minimum light speed.
I just need to see a site using this product in order to become a believer...

$995.00?

Is the decimal point in the correct position?

Pros: 3 levels of product license: Free Open source, Free-Licensed community and Enterprise,
Can speed up your application by caching .net objects.

Cons: Free versions very limited in use
Very little value here for personal or even power users.

Bottom Line: This product appears to be targeted toward mid-large enterprises with distributed systems. As such the pricing appears to be in line with what the target customers expect to pay. As I am not this kind of customer I cannot say if the price tag is in line with what I expect to pay for this kind of functionality - especially one built around open source code.
