i've used both 2015 and 2016 versions and they work fine. if you read any of the virus tests out there you'll see that panda is actually the best when it comes to keeping bad things from entering your computer. the firewall works just fine and doesn't slow down your traffic. the detection rate isn't the best but it's nowhere near the worst. the price is kinda high but hey, what can you do? alot of people here don't review the software honestly and just review things based on their own fanboyism. this software isn't bad at all.

Panda's detection isn't really that good. It is not bad either, it's just at the average. And the product is heavy on system resources.
Besides, this, they use an advanced technology to prevent threats, but it really stands no chance against the best security suite, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009

When Vista version coming?

Not the best AV around, misses a lot of samples, expensive and hugely bloated.
Do yourself a big favor and get Eset Smart Security.

I used Panda for 2 years 2004-2006
Tech support was very good
I switched to Norton Internet Security because Panda failed a firewall test (shieldsup)
Norton passed all the tests I threw at it.
Norton Technical Support is hard to get, gives out standard answers AND often want #39.99 to remove virus
I would love to find something better the Norton Internet Security
Will be looking at others.

Panda is good but not cutting edge. Go with Bitdefender Total Security 2008 or Kasperky Internet Security. The anti-virus with new mega detection is still getting beat by the above.

Even if you don't take the relatively high price into consideration, Panda is no match for the likes of NOD32 and Kaspersky Internet Security which is probably the better of all of the home packages.
Panda performed quite poorly in a PC Pro magazine test where it only detected 50 odd percent of 123 viruses that were put on a PC.
Norton and McAffree while still poor did a bit better.
NOD32 was 2nd best and Kaspersky blitzed 98% of them, missing only 1 or 2. Plus Kaspersky is cheaper. I use it on my home machines and we use NOD32 at our offices. Neither have let us down once yet.
Tried Panda once and it was uninstalled after a very short time. Perhaps calling a product after an endangered species wasn't a smart idea either.

Panda IS a good virus scanner despite what some claim. No virus scanner detects every virus, and all these website virus scanner "tests" produce different rankings for that very reason. Personally I get tired of seeing all the online virus scanner reviews because one review will say just the opposite of another review.
Panda isn't worth its retail price though. You can buy an oem version which allows up to 3 computers for like $15.

I am NOT singlinganyone, because of where you live or your ethnicity, BUT Panda is your best??
That is a sad statement, as I would encourage anyone to get on the net more and look into Kaspersky, CA, Trend Micro, Avast or any of the number of suites that are far superior to Panda. Nice does NOT get your unit stablized - you want and need protection and Panda is ONLY minimal!!

Panda Software has come along way since the day it started and keeps getting better. The USA panda tech support is probably the friendliest bunch or people that you will see in this industry and dont hold out their hand for your wallaet when you need help with their software. 10.02.01 has allot of newer fixes and features then this one being reviewed and is giving the other anti virus companies a run for their money

The best Spanish (like me) software ever made.
I think there is only one soft that could be better than panda platinum 2006: BitDefender 9 Internet Security.
Untill it is released in Spanish, i will continue with the Spanish soft.
