Your system does not meet the following graphic card requirements:
- shader version 2 or higher
Activation of component set 'Splash' failed.
An exception has been thrown during the initialization of component: 'RenderEngine' (Module: 'RenderEngine.DLL').
Exception message: "Unable to initialize RenderEngine."
Worthless with a normal pc like dell dimension 2400? Come on..

Looks promising but is horrendously slow on my P4 3Ghz with ATI X1600 Pro 256MB. Not a modern computer but entire computer slows down just showing a folder of pics. I can understand if I'm flipping through photos and it slows down, but not generating thumbnails!

pictomio is still buggy but it has amazing slide show effects and seems very promising

No problem with performance (ATI 3850, Intel E2140 @ 3.2 GHz). Program looks and behaves great, however, I noticed a bug which is easy to reproduce. My disks are divided into partitions. One partition is a "photobank". When I want to open it (via Pictomio's "drives and storage devices") the program always crashes. The report shows problem with imageservices.dll.

Same problem -- drops performance to a standstill and I have quad core at 3.1Ghz, 4 GB memory and 8800GT's in SLI. I do have a feeling that this program has a LOT of potential however so I'm rating it based on what I hope it will be. Right now, it's unuseable. When it does work it appears that it will do very high quality fades and other effects between slides. I'll watch for updates.

Nice idea, but it's not running smooth. Good work, keep it up! I really hope you get it optimized!

This program needs a serious performance boost, it takes way too long to add photos and view them. Yes, my system does meet the requirements. It does however provide the 3D goods, it looks great.

It's coming along nicely considering it's an alpha version. Still a lot of work to do but the programmers are very responsive regarding bugs and suggestions. (The 5 is for the finished product.)

installation took forever, it's got to pop to our beloved mícró$$oft to download some directx stuff... yawn...
but that said, when it loaded it's rather nice... nothing earth shattering, but does some nice auto-rotating of pictures to ensure they're orientated the right way for viewing.
Did crash a lot (but it is early into development) and doesn't really offer anything that Adobe Bridge/lightroom/picasa etc has...but promising as a beta.
