Pros: Excellent and works very well on my computer. It is the best of the best whether anyone else likes it or not. The other cleaning software is second grade at best, PrivaZer is royalty.

Cons: None that I can think of, I have had no trouble with it at all, NONE!

Bottom Line: It is the best and you will not find better, different but not better. The people here who complain about it have no clue what their doing.

Cons: You have to get used to the quirky menu.

Even when I save the Quick Access and the recent file lists
PrivaZer still removes the right click "Clear Recent Items option"
I still have the Recent Items but I no longer have the right click "Clear Recent Items option" it is gone until I use the system restore.

Hello CyberDoc999,

Classic Shell Menu uses Quick Access and the recent file list maintained by Windows. If you want to preserve those lists, simply open PrivaZer, in the scan lists, click on "Start, Jumplists, Quick Access", then click on the "Options" link and in the Jumplists list, uncheck both "Windows Explorer" and "Quick Access".

It's far,far more than a reg cleaner, it cleans traces from browsers, free space MTF & more, a good companion to CCleaner & worth getting the donors version.

I bought the donor's version so here's my 2 cents: I think a page file progress bar on shutdown would be helpful. Otherwise, definitely worth 5 bucks.

-Downloaded the Portable version to test on:
WinXP. C:40Gb = 500Gb partitioned to 40Gb. (Used = 13Gb) Consists
of: O/s, Apps, & recovery = RollBack Rx.

-Rollback Rx (Took a disk Image (5secs)
-PrivaZer - Used the Wizard (as advanced user) to config, which Generates
a .ini config file (PrivaZer.ini) in same folder as launcher.
-Closed proggy & Re-Launched "Getting Started" Auto-loads PrivaZer.ini
-Next>>Ready to perform my first scan>>OK
-About 2mins (40Gb)
-Clicked CLEAN.. Selected Turbo (Very fast)
-Re-Ran the prog & selected Clean = Quick Clean (Took 4 secs).

I won't comment on the program. It's more a case of User pref.
It delves deep & finds some Interesting stuff tucked away.
-Noobz, Just take care..!! & If you select "Normal Cleanup", Be
prepared to twiddle your thumbs for quite a while. ALSO: the prog
doesn't prompt for a Re-Boot..?? I aint gonna comment on that.!!
-Pro's, It's worth a whirl, But....... You've seen it all before..

Just tried it the other day; appears to do a thourough cleanup job when I ran it in my XP VM (created a recovery point just in case before running though). So far, my VM works quite fine and even a bit spiffy. In a day or so from now, I'll make the change permanent (only keep a handful of recovery points for my VM). Thanks for this cool tool. :)

Best hard drive cleaner of all, deep and thorough. Lists files marked for deletion beforehand, plus includes option to create a System Restore Point prior to cleanup.

Options to run without installation and/or create portable version. Been using PrivavaZer since its initial release, never had any problems or issues. It may seem a tad complex for less experienced users but experienced users will have no trouble.

Highly recommended.
