I agree, I think the interface is much like the rogers yahoo interface and outlook 2003. They wanted to make something free and they did it. I'm not a fan of the ads either. I'll try it out and mabye get rid of Outlook 2003 and use this. But...

I love the messenger product from windows. I just wish that they wouldn't put that banner at the bottom but other then that it's a great product to use.
