Publisher's Description
VisualWget is a download manager that uses Wget as its core. It give you an interface to manage your downloads. By maintaining your downloads as a list of jobs, you can easily see the progress of them as they are running; start or stop them; or set their priority. Each download (job) can be configured separately. When you create a new job or edit an existing one, you can insert a list of URLs and select from various Wget's options.

I apreciate the efforts of the author but there is a great paradox in this work.People use wget because is a light download manager. This gui is a memory hog for the .NET integration.Better option for people is another wget gui called Wackget

Was an orbit user, but it consistently had download issues. Took me half an hour to get 58% of 36.5mb on the fastest connection in town and vwget did it without hesitation in less than 3 minutes. I torrent if you are wondering.
No install and my firewall knows it by heart. Thanks

Is there some way that the user can enter their proxy and port? I've searched every place possible but could come up with nothing!

I like this much better than orbit which gave me issues of security upon first installing. This does not need to be a FF 'extension' because flashgot handles it.
NOW it "fails to initializes properly...", maybe it's that new dotnet3.5 bs-?

Could be nice if not written using .NET, 30MB total RAM+Virtual is too much for such "simple" tool, .NET is definitly not memory optimized.

Wow, nice. Only a 190K download, and almost usable. Only lacking 1 or 2 features that I "must have" for my default DL manager. FDM and Orbit are 10x larger, and should be ashamed.

Looks cool, but the first thing i thought of, was "This needs to be an extension in FF!"
